How We Get Paid
We want to be very clear about how we’re compensated and make sure you fully understand the value we bring. No hidden Tiverton advisory fees, no fine print you have to hunt for — our advisory pricing is disclosed upfront.
Flat Fee Plans
Tiverton Wealth charges flat-dollar fees, not a percentage of your assets. You pay us directly, and we receive no commissions. Here is exactly what we charge, what it covers, and how it is billed.
Initial Planning Engagement
Set in writing before work begins, based on the complexity of your situation.
One-Time Planning FeeWhat it covers: gathering your information, analyzing your situation, and building your financial plan.
How it is billed: billed as a flat fee under your written advisory agreement.
Ongoing Subscription
Subscription fees range from $0 to $1,250 per month ($0 to $15,000 per year), based on the complexity of your situation. Most clients pay one of these four subscription levels.
Tier 1
For more straightforward financial situations.
Ongoing SubscriptionTier 2
For growing financial complexity.
Ongoing SubscriptionTier 3
For more involved planning needs.
Ongoing SubscriptionTier 4
For complex, multi-faceted financial pictures.
Ongoing SubscriptionWhat the ongoing subscription covers
- Ongoing financial planning across income, insurance, tax, investments, retirement, and estate planning
- Investment management of your accounts held at Charles Schwab
- Year-round tax planning, including Roth conversion analysis and an annual year-end review meeting
- Annual income tax return preparation for eligible clients, provided by Tiverton Tax, LLC, a separate affiliated business, under its own engagement agreement
Ongoing Subscription fees are billed as a flat monthly fee under your written advisory agreement. Your fee is a fixed dollar amount and does not rise or fall with your account balances.
Your exact fee is agreed to in writing before any work begins. The four monthly levels shown are the most common amounts clients pay, not averages or guarantees of what your fee will be.
The Initial Planning Engagement is generally substantially completed within 120 days after receipt of all required client information, and no later than 150 days absent documented circumstances.
Following the initial planning engagement, clients may choose to continue on a monthly subscription basis for ongoing planning support. There is no obligation to continue.
Tiverton Wealth’s flat fees are not based on the value of assets under management and do not vary based on whether assets are managed or self-directed. Ongoing Subscription fees are determined within a range of $0 to $1,250 per month, based on the scope and complexity of the engagement, and are agreed to with the client in the advisory agreement.
Plan type is dependent upon individual circumstances and is at the discretion of the Tiverton Wealth, LLC team.
Tiverton Tax, LLC is a separate legal entity affiliated with Tiverton Wealth, LLC through common ownership. Tax preparation and tax-related services are provided exclusively through Tiverton Tax, LLC under a separate engagement agreement. Clients are not required to use Tiverton Tax and may use any tax professional of their choosing. For clients whose Tiverton Wealth engagement includes tax services, no separate fee is charged by Tiverton Tax; however, for clients who pay an advisory fee to Tiverton Wealth, those tax services are paid for indirectly through that fee.
Compare to Your Current Advisory Fee
Many investment advisers charge fees based on a percentage of assets under management. Use the calculator below to compare an AUM-based fee you enter with an illustrative Tiverton flat fee.

This calculator is an illustration for educational purposes only. It compares fee amounts and is not a projection or guarantee of investment performance, savings, or results.
The figures assume a constant account balance with no investment growth or loss, no deposits or withdrawals, and no taxes. The percentage-based figure is the fee percentage you enter applied to the balance you enter, charged once per year. The Tiverton figure is the monthly amount you enter, multiplied by twelve, and does not include the one-time Initial Planning Engagement fee. The comparison does not account for the specific services provided, or for custodial, fund, or other third-party expenses, which a client may incur under either fee structure.
The Tiverton monthly fee field is pre-filled with an illustrative amount of $500 per month. Tiverton Wealth’s flat fees are not based on the value of assets under management and do not vary based on whether assets are managed or self-directed. Actual fees are determined by the scope and complexity of the client’s engagement and are agreed to in the advisory agreement.
